I love to play games, especially ones with amazing graphics backed up with great stories.
I had played games in PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and 3, but now I play almost entirely on a PC.
My PC may not have the latest hardware, but it’s powerful enough to play any game in the world.
Before going into list of games I love that have given me a lifetime of good memories, here’s the PC hardware I’m currently using:

And here’s the list of great games:
Final Fantasy VII
This game is perhaps the best PlayStation game I’ve played.
The graphics were among the best of 1997.
The story was so well written and loved by many fans that Square Enix started remaking the entire game for this generation’s consoles.
The best, or perhaps the saddest, scene in the game was when one of my favourite characters, Aerith Gainsborough, had to die so I could move on in the game.
Here’s the video:
I believe no one expected that to happen in 1997 – and trust me, if this was in 2019, the scene would go viral without a doubt.
Final Fantasy VIII
Although its story was not as good as Final Fantasy VII, it was still the best game I played in 1999.
It has slightly better graphics, but pretty bad by today’s standards.
I mean, we’re talking freaking PlayStation in 1999. You can’t expect everything, right?
Here are all the cut scene in HD:
Final Fantasy IX
The story was better than Final Fantasy VIII, but still not as good as Final Fantasy VII.
It was about a run-away princess who meets a thief.
In the end, the thief become the hero who saves the world.
It’s kind of like those Chinese historic dramas.
There are 2 wonderful scenes that I love from this game:
Hero (Thief) stays behind to save the world, while the princess worries he will not survive.
Hero (Thief) survives and return to a happy ending.
Probably the best multiplayer online real-time strategy game I have played so far.
I started playing it in 2002 – 2003 but stopped because I had to go the army for 2 years.
I returned to playing it in 2008 – 2010.
I met a lot of new friends from all over the world because of this game, and some are still in contact with me today.
Sadly, this game stopped updating many years back.
Because of that, some crazy people have created a duplicate version so the game can carry on, but with updates and better graphics.
Anyway, below is the most current version of the actual gameplay from the original game (fast forward to see the gameplay):
Below is the duplicate version of the gameplay (fast forward to see the gameplay):
Another online game I love, but this time it is a first-person shooter.
This game actually took the online first-person shooter world by storm.
I played this game on and off from 2001 – 2010 and was banned from several servers.
I swear I didn’t hack.
I was so good that the admin got frustrated and thought I was hacking, so they banned me from their server.
Anyway, the best time I had with this game was playing along with my buddies in Lan shops.
There were countless hours of overnight playing.
Below is a game play of the latest version of the game:
Final Fantasy X
Another Final Fantasy game, with another amazing story.
The story is not as good as Final Fantasy VII, but still it’s the best RPG I played in 2001.
It’s about a hero from another era who comes to search for an answer about his father’s disappearance.
He meets a lady, they become lovers, but in the end the hero has to leave and go back to where he came from.
Below is the game’s best scene:
Good graphics and a good story.
It’s about a boy who enters the world of Disney and, with Donald and Goofy, saves the world from destruction.
I love this game because it brings back a lot of my childhood memories of the Disney world about The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and many more.
Here’s just the trailer:
Final Fantasy XIII
The story wasn’t as good as the previous Final Fantasy series.
Still, I had to list it as one of the games I love because of its amazing graphics and almost open world, like RPG.
After so many Final Fantasy games, I feel Square Enix is laggng behind the RPG world.
As of now, not a single Final Fantasy series has been able to match Final Fantasy VII story, which was one of the best RPGs in 1997.
Anyway, here’s the trailer:
Final Fantasy XV
Because of advances in the world of gaming graphics, this game had some of the best graphics in the Final Fantasy series, with an open world playing style.
The story was not really well written, but the Final Fantasy XV world was well designed.
Here’s a trailer:
The Witcher 2
This is one hell of a game.
The graphics are stunning.
You’ll be amazed at the world of The Witcher 2, which is backed up by a story that surpasses Final Fantasy VII.
I played for 317 hours to completely finish the game.
Every decision you make during the gameplay will eventually affect the outcome of what will happen next.
Believe it or not, you can have sex with some of the women in the game if you know where to find them, and you can even see the whole sex process.
Below is a trailer to show how great this game was:
The Witcher 3
Witcher 2 was already damn good, but The Witcher 3 was legendary.
I replayed it 3 times.
The longest I had to play to completely finish this legendary game was 407 hours.
Why is this game legendary?
Well… it had some of the best graphics of 2015 and one hell of a story that involves love, tragic and betrayal.
It won hundreds of awards.
And yes, in this game you can have sex, too if you know where to find your partners.
There are two main female characters in the game, but you can only choose one of them to love and have sex with.
The decision rests with you.
Enough sex. Here’s the trailer:
And here’s the gameplay trailer:
I started playing this game in 2016 after being introduced to it by my friends.
This is an online multiplayer third-person shooter.
The graphics in this game are amazing, especially when you are walking through the streets of New York where the game environment was designed.
The changing weather and the day and night makes this game almost like you are there.
Although is an online multiplayer third-person shooter, there is a strong story and you can also play with another 3 people as a group.
Because of this game, I met a few good friends, and we spent our weekends playing overnight most of the time in the year 2016 and 2017.
Sometimes I still play this game, just to kill time.
Anyway, here’s the game trailer:
And here’s the game play:
Games on Waiting List
Currently, I’m waiting for these two games to be released in early 2019:
